Beth Whitaker discusses how principals' classroom visits can raise student achievement

This month at Education World, Beth Whitaker discussed an easy and effective way for principals to exercise their roles as instructional leaders - visiting classrooms. "It's such a simple concept, but it makes a huge impact," says Beth Whitaker. She says the key is to be a visible and positive presence in classrooms. Education World also featured the book she co-wrote with Todd Whitaker, Motivating and Inspiring Teachers.
