Response to Intervention (RtI) represents one of the first times in many of our educational careers that a nationally supported process has led staffs in schools and in districts to proactive measures, as opposed to reactive solutions. Starting with Continuous School Improvement is the best way to rethink regular and special education and to achieve accelerated change. Incremental change is simply not enough to meet the needs of all students.
